- 1 tsp. canola oil
- 3 oz. boneless skinless chicken breast
- 1 peeled garlic clove, minced
- 1 tsp. very low-sodium chicken bouillon granules
- 1/2 cup chopped frozen broccoli
- 1/2 cup sliced frozen carrots Target 2 lb For $3.00 thru 02/06
- 1 medium red pepper, sliced into strips
- 1/3 cup instant brown rice, uncooked
- 1 Tbsp. KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1 medium banana
- 8 fl oz (1 cup) drinking water
Method
- Heat oil in medium nonstick skillet on medium-high heat.
- Add chicken and garlic; cook and stir until chicken is lightly browned.
- Add 1/3 cup water, bouillon granules, broccoli, carrots, and peppers.
- Bring to boil, stir in rice, and return to boil.
- Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 5 min.
- Remove from heat; let stand 5 min.
- Stir in cheese.
- Enjoy a banana for dessert.
- Serve meal with a glass of water.
