Ingredients

  • 12 oz. chicken breasts, cooked and cubed
  • 9 oz. chicken broth (fat-free)
  • 4 oz. mushrooms, diced
  • 3 stems celery, chopped
  • 1 tsp. dry onions (or 1/4 c. fresh chopped)
  • 1 medium carrot, diced
  • 1/4 c. cold water
  • 1 Tbsp. flour (or cornstarch)
  • 8 slices low calorie bread

Method

  • Mix chicken, broth, mushrooms, celery, onions and carrot. Stir together water and flour or cornstarch.
  • Mix vegetables and flour.
  • Mix together and cook gently until mixture thickens.
  • Add cubed chicken.
  • Keep warm.
