Ingredients
- 12 oz. chicken breasts, cooked and cubed
- 9 oz. chicken broth (fat-free)
- 4 oz. mushrooms, diced
- 3 stems celery, chopped
- 1 tsp. dry onions (or 1/4 c. fresh chopped)
- 1 medium carrot, diced
- 1/4 c. cold water
- 1 Tbsp. flour (or cornstarch)
- 8 slices low calorie bread
Method
- Mix chicken, broth, mushrooms, celery, onions and carrot. Stir together water and flour or cornstarch.
- Mix vegetables and flour.
- Mix together and cook gently until mixture thickens.
- Add cubed chicken.
- Keep warm.
