Ingredients
- 1 c. raw rice
- 1 can water
- 1 can cream of onion soup
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- cut up fryer
- Worcestershire sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Basting a turkey all night is "for the birds!"
- Rub thawed turkey with melted butter.
- Stuff it with onion, celery and potato; salt and pepper bird.
- Place in covered container.
- Add 5 to 6 cups hot water.
- Cover pan with foil, then put lid on.
- Preheat oven to 500°.
- Place pan in oven and bake at 500° for 1 hour, then turn oven off and leave overnight (don't open oven door!).
