Ingredients

  • 4 small skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 8 oz mushrooms, halved
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil or cooking oil
  • 1 Lemon
  • 3 cup Fresh broccoli florets
  • 10 oz Container refrigerated light Alfredo pasta sauce
  • 1/8 tsp ground black pepper

Method

  • Season chicken with salt and pepper, in a large skillet cook chicken and mushrooms in hot oil over medium heat for 4 minutes turning once.
  • Step
  • Meanwhile, shred 2 teaspoon lemon peel; set aside, slice lemon, add broccoli and Lemon slices to skillet.
  • Cook covered for 8 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink.
  • Step
  • Place chicken on 4 plates.
  • Add Alfredo sauce, lemon peel, and 1/8 teaspoon pepper to skillet; heat through serve sauce with chicken and enjoy!
