Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts, deboned and cut in large pieces
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 c. (1 stick) melted margarine or butter
  • 8 oz. pkg. herb-seasoned stuffing

Method

  • Stew the chicken with your favorite seasonings and cool, reserving 2 cups of the broth.
  • Remove chicken from bone and tear in pieces.
  • Place in shallow 3-quart (9 x 13-inch) baking dish. Combine soups and 1 cup broth and pour over chicken.
  • Mix margarine or butter and remaining broth; stir in stuffing and spoon over chicken.
  • Bake at 400° for 30 minutes uncovered.
