Ingredients
- 1/3 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. honey
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. peanut butter
- 2 c. rolled oats
- 1 c. crispy rice cereal
- 1/2 c. flaked coconut
- 1/4 c. peanuts
Method
- Heat first five ingredients together in a saucepan, stirring to blend.
- In an 8 x 8-inch square pan, combine oats, rice cereal, coconut and peanuts.
- Pour honey mixture over dry ingredients. Mix until thoroughly coated.
- Pack mixture firmly into pan.
- Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Cool and cut into 16 bars.
