Ingredients

  • 1 package Chocolate Cake Mix, 18 Ounce Box
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 can (21-Oz) Wilderness Cherry Fruit Filling
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 5 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1/3 cups Milk
  • 6 ounces, weight Semi-sweet Chocolate Pieces

Method

  • Combine cake mix, eggs and cherry fruit filling. Mix until well blended. Pour into a greased and floured 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 35-40 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow cake to cool before frosting.
  • For frosting: In a small saucepan combine sugar, butter, and milk; bring to a boil, stirring constantly and cook 1 minute. Remove from heat; stir in chocolate pieces until melted and smooth. Spread over cake when cake has cooled.
