Ingredients

  • 3 cups Milk
  • 1-3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Vanilla
  • 5 cups Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 2 cups Chopped Strawberries, Washed And Hulled
  • 2 whole Medium Bananas, Large Diced
  • 1 cup Fresh Pineapple, Diced (or Use Canned)
  • 1/2 cups Marachino Cherries, Chopped
  • 1/2 cups Chocolate Syrup

Method

  • Scald milk in a large saucepan (when bubbles start surfacing around edges); remove from heat. Stir in sugar and salt until dissolved. Stir in whipping cream, strawberries, bananas, pineapple, and cherries. Freeze according to ice cream maker instructions. Before placing in the freezer to harden, fold in chocolate syrup. You don't want to stir it in, you want to have ribbons of chocolate. Let harden for at least 4 hours.
  • Makes 4 quarts.
