Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 c. graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 tbsp. sugar
  • 1/3 c. butter
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 large container Cool Whip
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. almond extract

Method

  • Melt butter.
  • Add sugar and crumbs.
  • Put into pie plate and bake 8 minutes at 350°.
  • Mash cream cheese with powdered sugar; cream well.
  • Mix in Cool Whip.
  • Put into cooled crust.
  • Top with cherry pie filling mixed with 1/4 cup sugar and almond extract. Chill.
