Ingredients

  • 1 lb potatoes, frozen hash brown
  • 1/4 c butter, softened
  • 1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
  • 1 c cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 1 c sour cream
  • 1/4 c onion, chopped
  • 1 c cornflakes, crushed
  • 1/8 c butter, melted

Method

  • Grease a casserole dish. Combine cornflakes and melted better. Mix together other ingredients and put into casserole dish. Sprinkle top with cornflakes mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
  • Experiment with additional ingredients such as jalapeno peppers.
