Ingredients

  • 5 chicken breasts or 1 whole (3 lb.) chicken, cooked with celery and onion (save broth)
  • 3 hard-boiled eggs
  • 1/3 lb. Velveeta, cubed
  • 1 onion
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 small cans mushrooms
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 c. broth
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Creamettes

Method

  • Put Creamettes in bottom layer in greased casserole.
  • Add all ingredients on top.
  • Put in refrigerator overnight.
  • Remove from refrigerator 1 hour before putting in oven.
  • Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350°.
  • During last 1/2 hour, add buttered bread crumbs.
  • (I use Hi Ho cracker crumbs.)
