Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken, boiled and cut into pieces
  • 3 c. cooked rice
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 can cream of mushroom or chicken soup
  • 1 can LeSueur peas
  • grated cheese
  • bread crumbs

Method

  • Butter casserole dish and put chicken in the bottom.
  • Pour drained LeSueur peas on top, then cover with rice.
  • Heat milk and soup and pour over rice.
  • Use a fork to separate rice and allow sauce through.
  • Top with bread crumbs and cheese.
  • Bake at 350° until cheese melts.
