Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. hamburg or sausage
- 1/3 c. onion
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. oregano
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 c. grated cheese
- 2 regular 9-inch pie shells (unbaked)
Method
- Brown meat and onion; drain well.
- In bowl, beat together milk, mayonnaise and seasonings.
- Stir in beaten eggs.
- Add 1 cup grated cheese and beef and onion mixture to bowl.
- Pour into pie crusts.
- Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.
- Sprinkle with remaining cheese just before removing from oven.
- Done when knife inserted comes out clean.
- Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
- Serves 6.
