Ingredients

  • 60 stuffed olives, well drained
  • 2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. paprika

Method

  • Blend cheese with butter.
  • Sift together flour, salt and paprika.
  • Add cheese mixture and mix well.
  • Pinch off a small amount of the dough; flatten in the palm of your hand and wrap the dough around each olive.
  • Freeze.
  • Do not thaw before baking.
  • When ready to bake, place cheese balls on baking sheet and bake in a preheated 400° oven for 15 minutes.
  • Makes 5 dozen.
