Ingredients
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. melted butter or margarine
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 c. warm water
- 1 egg, beaten
- 4 c. self-rising flour
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Method
- In large bowl, combine sugar and butter.
- Dissolve yeast in warm water; add to sugar mixture.
- Add egg; stir in flour, then garlic powder and cheese.
- Cover bowl and refrigerate.
- Dough will rise in refrigerator.
- It can be baked immediately, but it's better refrigerated a few hours or overnight before using.
