Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. sharp cheese, grated
- 1/2 lb. oleo or butter
- 2 1/2 c. flour (plain)
- 1/2 tsp. red pepper
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 to 1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
- extra pecan halves (optional)
Method
- Cream butter and cheese.
- Add salt, pepper, paprika and flour, a little at a time.
- Roll thin.
- Cut and bake in moderate oven for 15 or 20 minutes.
- For extra goodness, add 1/2 to 1 cup chopped pecans.
- Top each biscuit with pecan half before baking.
