Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. cornmeal
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- pinch of cayenne pepper
- 1 egg
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 c. melted butter
- 1 1/4 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
Method
- Blend dry ingredients together.
- Beat egg, milk and butter. Add the dry ingredients.
- Add cheese.
- Bake at 425° about 15 minutes in buttered muffin tins.
- You may freeze and reheat.
