Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter
  • 2 1/4 c. white sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 (1 oz.) bottle brandy flavoring
  • 4 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. flour for fruit and nuts
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 qt. pecans, chopped
  • 1 box white raisins
  • 1 lb. candied cherries (red and green)
  • 1 lb. candied pineapple, cut up

Method

  • Sift together all dry ingredients.
  • Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time.
  • Mix in flavoring.
  • Add dry ingredients. Fold in fruit and nuts.
  • Bake in tube pan at 325° or less for about 4 hours or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • This is very good.
