Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. flounder
- 1 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. beer
- 2 tsp. oil
- 1 tsp. egg coloring (optional)
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 pinch of pepper
Method
- Dredge 1 1/2 pound flounder in small amount of flour.
- Mix remaining ingredients in a bowl until smooth.
- Heat oil or shortening for deep frying (350°).
- Dip fish into batter and lower into hot oil.
- Cook 3 to 4 minutes or until crisp and golden brown.
