Ingredients

  • 5 ears of fresh corn husked
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp kosher salt

Method

  • cut corn kernals off of cobs
  • heat butter in large skillet saute corn until just starting to brown add garlic, cream, cayenne and black pepper heat to a simmer and cook until slightly thick add salt
  • serve hot
  • This is wonderful in the summer with fresh corn BUT in the winter frozen or canned drained corn really works well!
