Ingredients

  • 4 oz. macaroni
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 lb. can tomatoes, undrained
  • 1/4 tsp. basil
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. shredded cheese
  • 1/8 tsp. oregano

Method

  • Cook macaroni following directions on package.
  • Rinse in cold water and drain.
  • Brown beef, onion and green pepper in skillet. Stir in flour.
  • Add tomatoes. Cook until thickens.
  • Stir in cheese, seasoning and macaroni. Spoon in buttered casserole.
  • Bake at 375° for 20 to 25 minutes.
