Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 3 c. flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. cloves
- 3 c. finely chopped peeled apples
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Method
- Mix oil, sugar and eggs together.
- Sift flour, soda, salt and spices together; add to egg mixture.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Next, add vanilla, apples and nuts.
- Pour into greased and floured tube cake pan and bake at 350° for approximately
- 1 hour.
- Remove cake from pan.
- Cool and top with glaze.
