Ingredients

  • 1 c. flour
  • 4 oz. (1 stick) butter, cut into pieces
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 Tbsp. caraway seed
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • pinch of paprika
  • pinch of cayenne
  • dash of red pepper sauce
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 oz. Parmesan cheese

Method

  • Place flour, butter and salt in a bowl and mix until crumbly. Add the Cheddar cheese, caraway seed, mustard, paprika, cayenne pepper and red pepper sauce to the bowl and mix together.
  • Add the milk and knead until the mixture forms a ball.
  • Wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours.
