Ingredients
- 1 c. butter (not margarine)
- 1 lb. brown sugar
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Melt butter in heavy saucepan.
- Add sugar and stir well.
- Stir in corn syrup and mix well.
- Gradually add milk, stirring constantly.
- Cook and stir to a firm ball stage (245°).
- Remove from heat and add vanilla.
- Pour in greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Cool; cut in squares.
- Wrap in waxed paper.
