Ingredients
- 6 slices day old white bread (remove crust)
- 2 Tbsp. reduced-calorie margarine
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar replacement, divided
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 c. raisins
- vegetable cooking spray
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 2 c. skim milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Brush bread with melted margarine.
- Mix 1 teaspoon sugar substitute and cinnamon.
- Sprinkle over bread.
- Quarter each bread slice.
- Layer with raisins in 1 1/2-quart casserole coated with cooking spray.
- Set dish aside.
- Combine eggs, milk, vanilla and remaining sugar replacement.
- Pour over bread and raisins.
- Place dish in a pan containing hot water.
- Bake at 350° for 55 to 60 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
