Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. margarine (2 sticks)
- 1 c. white Karo syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 box light brown sugar
- 1 c. Eagle Brand milk
Method
- Melt margarine, then add brown sugar until blended.
- Add milk and Karo syrup.
- Stir constantly until it reaches soft ball stage. It will change color and start to pull away from side of pan. (You can use candy thermometer.)
- Remove from heat and add vanilla.
- Pour into greased pan and refrigerate.
- Turn out onto cutting board.
- Cut into pieces and wrap in wax paper.
