Ingredients
- 2 lb. flank or round steak
- 3 to 4 tomatoes
- 1 big onion, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. fat
- 1 c. water
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. flour
Method
- Sprinkle a little water over steak.
- Press flour into steak. Brown steak; remove from frypan and place in oven pan.
- Set aside. In frypan, pour water and loosen browned juice and pour over meat with other ingredients.
- Simmer for 2 hours at 300° or on low stove top.
