Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened at room temperature
  • 1 box caramel cake mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 3/4 c. almond brickle bits
  • 3/4 c. miniature chocolate chips

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine softened butter, cake mix, eggs, and water. Beat until smooth.
  • Stir in brickle bits and chocolate chips. Drop cookie dough from spoon onto ungreased cookie sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • I make each mound of dough about the size of a golf ball. This makes a good size cookie.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until the cookies are lightly browned.
  • Remove from cookie sheet onto rack to cool. Makes about 3 1/2 dozen cookies.
