Ingredients
- 1 c. margarine
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 6 qt. popped popcorn
Method
- Bring margarine, sugar, salt and corn syrup to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Boil without stirring for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat; add baking soda and vanilla.
- Pour over popcorn and mix well.
- Place coated popcorn in 2 large buttered cake pans.
- Bake at 250°, stirring every 15 minutes, for about an hour.
