Ingredients
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 2 sticks margarine
- 1/2 c. corn syrup (light)
- 1 pinch cream of tartar
- 5 to 6 qt. popped corn
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Method
- Mix sugar, margarine and tartar.
- Boil for 5 minutes in a large saucepan.
- Add soda and stir until foaming.
- Pour over popcorn, mixing quickly.
- Bake at 200° for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
- Spread on waxed paper to cool.
- Store in airtight container.
