Ingredients
- 2 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 16 large marshmallows or 1 c. marshmallow cream
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. evaporated milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces (1 c.)
- 1 c. nuts
Method
- Stir over medium heat until mixture boils and is bubbly all over top.
- Boil and stir over medium heat 5 minutes more.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in vanilla and chocolate pieces until melted. Stir in nuts.
- Spread in buttered 8 or 9-inch square pan.
- Press nuts on top.
- Cool.
- Cut into 30 pieces.
