Ingredients

  • 1/4 cabbage
  • 1/2 smoked sausage
  • 1/2 pints water
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 25 grams salted butter
  • 2 medium potatoes

Method

  • Peel and slice potatoes into 1 cm thick pieces, boil in water until cooked
  • Melt butter in a pan, add garlic powder and smoked sausage which has been sliced into 1 cm thick pieces .
  • Cook until sausage starts to discolour
  • Chop cabbage and add to sausage and butter mix.
  • Add water and allow to boil until water has almost evaporated.
  • Stirring ocasionaly
  • Add cooked potatoes to a hot frying pan.
  • Keep turning potatoes until slightly browned on both sides this took bout 3 mins.
  • Add cabbage and sausage mix and fry for about 3mins
  • Serve.
  • I added a slice of bread and butter to wipe the plate after it was all eaten
