Ingredients
- 1 large cabbage, shredded
- 6 Tbsp. oleo
- 8 ozs. cheddar cheese, cubed
- 1/4 c. bread crumbs
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Cook cabbage in boiling salted water until tender, drain. Saute onions in 5 Tbsp. oleo until tender.
- Add soup and mix well. Add cheese, stir until melted.
- Remove from heat and stir in drained cabbage, salt and pepper to taste.
- Place in ungreased 2 qt. baking dish.
- In skillet, melt 1 Tbsp. oleo, stir in crumbs until lightly browned.
- Sprinkle over casserole.
- Bake uncovered 350° for 20-30 minutes.
