Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 c. sweet milk
  • 2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • enough oil to cook in large electric frying pan
  • confectioners sugar
  • 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 (1 lb. 13 oz.) can sliced peaches, drained (juice reserved)
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can apricot halves, drained (juice reserved)
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
