Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
- 2 1/4 c. milk
- 3 eggs, separated
- 1 baked 9-inch pie shell
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 3/8 c. sugar
Method
- Place butter in saucepan; melt in low heat and remove. Combine flour, sugars and salt in bowl.
- Stir in milk.
- Pour into butter saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Stir in beaten eggs and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add meringue and bake 10 minutes.
