Ingredients

  • 3 slices bread
  • 1 lb. sausage
  • 4 oz. mild cheese, grated
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard

Method

  • Butter casserole good.
  • Break bread up and put in dish. Scramble sausage.
  • Drain.
  • Pour sausage over the bread.
  • Sprinkle cheese over sausage.
  • Mix eggs, milk, salt and dry mustard.
  • Pour over other ingredients.
  • Cover and let set in refrigerator overnight.
  • Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes, uncovered.
  • Serve with biscuit and jelly.
