Ingredients
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 c. light brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
Method
- Heat oven to 350°.
- Coat an 8 x 8-inch pan with cooking spray. Melt butter and remove from heat.
- Mix in sugar; cool.
- Add egg. Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
- Add sugar and butter to mixture.
- Blend in vanilla and walnuts.
- Bake 25 minutes.
- Do not overbake.
- Cut while warm.
