Ingredients

  • 1 qt. cut up green beans
  • 10 whole small onions
  • 6 or 8 small whole new potatoes
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 1 qt. sour cream
  • 1 whole plant dill
  • 3 eggs

Method

  • Cover beans, onions, potatoes, salt and vinegar with water. Cook until tender, then drain off half the water.
  • Add 1 quart sour cream, dill and eggs and simmer about 5 minutes.
  • Stir so egg whites and yolks break up and mix with beans.
  • Simmer until eggs finish cooking or cooked fully.
  • Take out dill and serve.
