Ingredients
- 3/4 c. walnuts
- 1 c. light brown sugar
- 1/2 c. light cream
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 24 marshmallows
Method
- Chop walnuts fine.
- Firmly pack brown sugar before measuring. Mix together sugar, cream, vanilla and salt.
- Place over heat and slowly bring mixture to a boil, gently, until candy thermometer registers 238° or until a little candy dropped in cold water forms a soft ball.
- Drop in marshmallows, a few at a time, and turn with a fork until well coated.
- Remove and roll in chopped nuts.
