Ingredients
- 1 c. butter
- 2 c. flour
- 1 egg yolk, slightly beaten
- 3/4 c. sour cream
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 3/4 c. walnuts, finely chopped
Method
- Cut butter into flour.
- Mix egg yolk and sour cream.
- Add to flour and mix thoroughly.
- Divide dough into 3 portions and chill several hours or overnight. `Roll each portion into a 12-inch circle.
- Combine sugar, cinnamon and nuts.
- Sprinkle mixture on dough.
- Cut each circle into 16 wedges.
- Roll each wedge firmly, starting at outside edge.
- Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375° for 17 to 20 minutes until lightly browned.
