Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 egg yolk, slightly beaten
  • 3/4 c. sour cream
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3/4 c. walnuts, finely chopped

Method

  • Cut butter into flour.
  • Mix egg yolk and sour cream.
  • Add to flour and mix thoroughly.
  • Divide dough into 3 portions and chill several hours or overnight. `Roll each portion into a 12-inch circle.
  • Combine sugar, cinnamon and nuts.
  • Sprinkle mixture on dough.
  • Cut each circle into 16 wedges.
  • Roll each wedge firmly, starting at outside edge.
  • Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375° for 17 to 20 minutes until lightly browned.
