Ingredients
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water (105~ to 115~)
- 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3 1/2 c. flour
Method
- Dissolve yeast in water.
- Dissolve butter, sugar and salt in 3/4 cup of hot water.
- Allow to cool.
- Beat egg and add to lukewarm butter mixture.
- Add yeast water.
- Add flour and mix well. Let stand in refrigerator overnight.
- Take out; knead a little. Roll out; cut and let rise at room temperature for about 2 1/2 hours.
- Bake at 400° for 10 to 12 minutes.
