Ingredients
- 2 c. pecans, chopped
- 1 box brown sugar
- 1 1/2 c. white sugar
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 qt. heavy cream or 2 cans evaporated milk
- 1 1/2 sticks butter or oleo
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 qt. milk
- 2 Tbsp. vanilla
Method
- Melt 1 stick butter.
- Spread pecans on cookie sheet or shallow baking pan and pour the melted butter over the pecans, mixing well. Melt 4 tablespoons of butter in boiler and add the brown sugar.
- Bring to a boil and boil 1 minute.
