Ingredients
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 1 c. margarine or butter, softened
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. almonds, pecans or walnuts, finely chopped or ground
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Method
- Preheat oven to 325°.
- In large bowl, combine first 3 ingredients; blend well.
- Stir in remaining ingredients until dough holds together.
- Shape into 1-inch balls.
- Place 1-inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 325° for 15 to 20 minutes or until set, but not brown.
- Immediately remove from cookie sheet.
- Cool slightly; roll in powdered sugar.
- Cool completely; roll again in powdered sugar.
- Makes 60 cookies.
