Ingredients

  • 3 sq. unsweetened chocolate
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2/3 c. condensed milk
  • 2 2/3 c. coconut

Method

  • Melt chocolate with butter in saucepan over very low heat, stirring constantly, until smooth.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Stir in eggs, sugar, flour and vanilla.
  • Pour into greased 9-inch pie pan. Combine milk and coconut; spoon over chocolate mixture, leaving 1/2-inch to 1-inch border.
  • Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
  • Cool before serving.
