Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 c. water
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 pkg. frozen peas and carrots
- flour and water thickening
Method
- Brown beef in skillet in a little oil.
- Add chopped onion; cook until onion is limp, stirring constantly.
- Add tomato sauce, then add water.
- Stir in seasoning.
- Add peas and carrots while still frozen.
- Thicken with flour and water mixed to a liquid paste.
- Continue cooking until slightly thickened, about 3 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Serve with rice or potatoes.
