Ingredients
- 2 c. water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. shortening or margarine
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 2 eggs
- 8 c. flour (approximately)
Method
- Beat all ingredients until thick and then knead lightly.
- Add flour until dough is soft and manageable.
- Place in greased bowl, cover with towel and let rise until double in bulk.
- Make into any kind of rolls.
- Place on greased pans and let rise again.
- Bake in 350° oven.
- Makes good cinnamon rolls, too.
