Ingredients

  • 4 sticks margarine, melted
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 c. white sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 c. raw oats
  • 2 c. Post Toasties
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Method

  • Mix first 3 ingredients, then stir in eggs and vanilla.
  • Sift flour, salt, soda and baking powder and add.
  • Mix in remainder of ingredients.
  • Mix in large bowl.
  • Drop by big spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Leave good space between cookies.
  • Bake at 300° for 12 to 15 minutes.
  • Makes 87 cookies.
