Ingredients
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- F. G. salt
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Place sugar, salt and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes (the cover prevents crystals from forming around the edges of pan).
- Remove from the heat and add vanilla.
- Store in a covered glass jar in a cool place.
- Makes 1 cup of syrup.
