Ingredients

  • 3-1/4 cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 2/3 cups Softened Butter
  • 2/3 cups Shortening
  • 2 cups Brown Sugar
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla
  • 1 bag (12 Oz. Size) Milk Chocolate Chips

Method

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F. Mix dry ingredients and set aside. Cream together the butter, shortening and brown sugar. Add eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla. After this is all mixed together, slowly add the dry ingredients. When that is all combined, stir in the chocolate chips. With a cookie scoop, drop scoops (1-2 tablespoons in size) on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake between 8-9 minutes. I like them to be a little undercooked as it makes a softer cookie in the long run. Enjoy!
