Ingredients
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 1 c. chopped walnuts
Method
- Mix brown sugar, vanilla and egg.
- Then add flour, salt and soda.
- Mix.
- Add walnuts.
- Bake at 350° in greased 9-inch square pan for 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven as soon as solid.
- Cool. Cut in squares.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
